Greek Yogurt is a style of yogurt with a thicker consistency, lower carbohydrate content and higher protein content than traditional yogurt. The special attributes of Greek Yogurt are achieved by adjusting the amount of liquid whey, either by removing it or by rebalancing the ingredients. The production of Greek Yogurt requires three times more industrial milk than is used in the production of traditional yogurt.
